1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Recapifai ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Recapifai provides audio summaries of publicly available YouTube video content. The App:

Fetches publicly available video information via YouTube's API
Generates text summaries using language model technology
Converts summaries to audio for convenient listening

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

You may sign in using Apple Sign-In
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@recapifai.com

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store
You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings
Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy
Both plans include a 3-day free trial — you will not be charged until the trial ends

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the App's source code
Use the App to infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
Resell or redistribute summaries generated by the App without permission

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Recapifai and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Summaries are generated from publicly available content and are provided for personal use only.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that summaries are accurate, complete, or error-free. Recapifai is not responsible for any decisions made based on content from the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recapifai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us at support@recapifai.com. Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
